Some links are affiliate links: if you open an account through them we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. It never changes our rankings. How we make money. Nothing here is financial advice.

Affiliate disclosure

Short version: some links here are affiliate links, they never change our rankings, and several of the exchanges we rate highly pay us nothing. Here is the full picture.

What an affiliate link is

Some of the exchanges on this site have a referral or partner program. When we link to one of those, and you open an account and trade, the exchange may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing extra, and in some cases you get a sign-up perk yourself. This is standard across comparison sites, and US FTC guidance asks us to tell you plainly. So: consider this the plain telling.

Which links pay us, and which do not

We currently have a referral relationship with these six exchanges, so their links are affiliate links:

  • Blofin
  • BTCC
  • Bitget
  • MEXC
  • Bitunix
  • KuCoin

Every other exchange we cover, including Binance, Bybit, HTX, Deribit, Gate.io, BingX, Phemex, WhiteBIT, XT.com, CoinEx, WEEX, KCEX and Hyperliquid, has no affiliate link. We do not earn anything if you sign up with them. We cover them anyway, in full, because a comparison that only includes the exchanges that pay you is not a comparison.

Why the rankings are not for sale

Our top pick, Blofin, earns that spot on the data: no-KYC trading, inverse perps and a clean record. If the numbers pointed somewhere else, the pick would move. We also publish uncomfortable facts about exchanges that do pay us, for example that Bitget requires KYC, because the honest call matters more than the funnel. If you ever spot a place where a paid link seems to have bent a rating, tell us and we will fix it.

Not financial advice

Nothing on this site is financial, investment, or tax advice. Leveraged crypto derivatives are high risk and can lose you more than your deposit. Rules differ by country. Check your local law, do your own research, and only trade what you can afford to lose.
